Effective communication is essential to successful living. Taylor University Fort Wayne's English and Professional Writing Department provides the framework for you to excel in any career that fits your calling. We combine a rigorous academic curriculum with faith-application in the classroom to promote an excellent education as well as spiritual formation.

Within this context of a Christ-centered world view, the liberal arts, and professional education, the purpose of the Department of English and Professional Writing is to develop students' abilities to think, listen, speak, and write clearly, analytically, critically, and creatively. All of TUFW's programs offered through this department are areas in which students can grow and develop their abilities, not only through classes, but through practical application.

Our mission is to equip our students to be competent communicators who are prepared to influence the world for Christ. Are you prepared?
