The Professional Writing major will equip you to get serious with your writing. In the classroom, you will gain the experience, confidence, and skills to get your message across in a world that continually looks through the black print to the "bottom line." By studying under award-winning novelists, scriptwriters, journalists, and editors, you will have the insider's view of what it takes to get your work published, with experience writing and getting published all along the way. You'll gain insight on how to intentionally get the Truth across in a culture with an all-encompassing, off-the-skyscraper communication style. This program is designed to help you to grow in the practical side of writing, gaining skills that will get your passion mobilized.
