The CIE application process at TUFW requires all applicants to provide the following:
- Credits-in-Escrow Application
- Guidance Counselor Recommendation*
- High School Transcript*
Contact your high school and request that an official transcript be sent to Taylor University Fort Wayne. Download our High School Transcript Request Form. - Aptitude Test Scores – SAT or ACT
Your application will be reviewed for admission once all the items listed above are completed. If you have any questions about any item, please contact your enrollment counselor. You’ll receive a letter in the mail once a final admission decision is made. Pending this decision, your enrollment counselor will contact you regarding class registration.
Upon your enrollment and completion of classes here at TUFW, you will have an official college transcript. Once you've completed your CIE classes, if you decide not to enroll at TUFW as a regular student and you want to transfer your credits to another institution, a one-time transcript fee of $250 will be needed before your transcript will be released. If you attend Taylor University for at least one semester following your high school graduation, there is no transcript fee.
Thank you for your interest in TUFW. We look forward to receiving your application!

*Note to Homeschool Students:
Regarding the Guidance Counselor Recommendation:
In many homeschool settings, a parent completes the Guidance Counselor
Recommendation form. Since most parents will have a positive bias for
their son or daughter, it is helpful (if the student has taken classes
outside the home) for a teacher to send our Enrollment Office a letter
of recommendation.
Regarding the High School Transcript: If the homeschool curriculum has been with an organized program (Internet or video for example), this should be specified on the transcript. When creating your transcript, please make sure that you include all the information shown on the sample transcript.
