Summer Orientation

Once you’ve been accepted to Taylor University Fort Wayne, you’ll soon be a college student. So, in preparation for your enrollment at TUFW this fall, sign-up to attend one of our Summer Orientation weekends and mark it on your calendar! Summer Orientation will be a perfect time for you and your parents to prepare for and become more familiar with TUFW. You’ll meet new friends, take proficiency tests, register for classes, and get to know what college life is all about! There will also be opportunities for you and your parents to tour the campus and meet with your enrollment counselor and/or financial aid personnel.

Before registering for your classes, you’ll take proficiency and placement tests so that your advisor can accurately place you in the classes best suited for your academic achievement. The proficiency exams required are in English, reading, and math, and the placement exam in Spanish, German or French is optional. TUFW only offers foreign language courses in Spanish, but others can be taken through the Fort Wayne Consortium of Colleges. After the exams, you will meet with your academic advisor (a TUFW professor) to schedule your classes for the Fall semester.

We can’t wait to have you here on campus – as a TUFW student! Sign up today for Summer Orientation and catch a glimpse of your calling taking shape!
