FAFSA
FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This form is
used nation-wide by all colleges who participate in federal student aid
programs. The forms are processed at a national service center. Data
from the FAFSA is also the basis for many state and institutional aid
programs, so this is a very important document! The FAFSA is to be
completed early in each calendar year, and collects all kinds of
financial and background data about you and your family. The data
submitted is then used to determine your aid eligibility for the coming
school year.
