Major Responsibilities: I work with students after they apply and work with letting them know what else they need to send in to complete their file. Items like the pastor's recommendation, the guidance counselr recommendation, the high school transcript, essays and SAT/ACT test scores.

I think TUFW is a great university because: I love the family atmosphere here! The small classes allow you to get to know your classmates and professors well. And it doesn’t stop there – professors have you over to their houses for parties or to hang out – and back at the residence hall, there are always people around to either cheer with you in the exciting times or give you a listening ear, shoulder to cry on, and pray with you when needed. Even though the campus has doubled in size since I was a student, this aspect has only gotten better.

Hobbies and interests: Photography, scrap-booking, spending time with my niece and nephew, and of course, having students over to hang out or go on a road trip!

Favorite class in college: J-term missions trip to Portugal – feel free to ask me about it!

My advice to you: Although cost is an important factor in your college decision, don’t let that keep you from applying to a college. With financial aid packages, you may be surprised at how affordable a Christian education at a private institution can be! Do your best in high school and have fun being an active citizen in your high school, church and community. 

If you visited my office, you’d see: Me! Of course there's more to see, but I would love to meet you and your family when you visit – so hopefully I'll be in my office! You would also see a plate with a painted picture of a Portuguese monastery.
