The Student Perspective

Cayla CampbellHello, my name is Cayla Campbell and I am a junior at TUFW. When filling out my application, I didn't know half of what I was getting by coming here. Taylor provides so many opportunities for growth, leadership and just to have fun. If I had to do the process of choosing a college all over again, there is no doubt in my mind that I would not choose any other college besides Taylor University Fort Wayne.

One thing that I love about TUFW is the spiritual growth that can take place. Having chapel three times a week to worship God and to learn is amazing. Also, in order to graduate, a student has to complete core biblical classes. What an amazing way to learn about God while also receiving college credit. From personal experience, I have learned that if I need someone to talk to there is always a staff member willing to drop what they are doing and give me good, biblical advice.

Besides the spiritual growth that takes place on this campus, the professors would be another amazing part that makes up TUFW. The professors here are so much different than anywhere else. They want to be a part of your life, not just teach you. The professors of my major, for instance, are so involved in our lives that we will take the first half hour of class, on some days, to talk about what is going on in our lives and things that we need prayer for. Just the idea that a professor would care enough to ask you about your life is really cool.

Overall, TUFW is an amazing school that prepares you for life outside of college, and not just in the work place but for every aspect of life.
