The Alumni Relations office exists to support the mission and purposes of university development, and the university as a whole. Realizing alumni are the only enduring and permanent constituency of Taylor University Fort Wayne, the alumni office endeavors to increase the level of communication, to encourage continued involvement, and to promote positive lifelong relationships between TUFW alumni and their alma mater.
With this mission in mind, we are here to serve you. Scott '80 assumed the role of Director of Alumni Relations on July 7, 2005. Scott earned his undergraduate degree in biblical studies at Fort Wayne Bible College and his graduate degree in education administration/student personnel from Slippery Rock University. He previously served at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, for 19 years in the area of Student Affairs, his last position as vice president. Scott brings excitement, a vast array of experience and a strong grasp of Christian higher education to the position. He and his wife, Julie (Tyrie '81), live in Fort Wayne and have four daughters - Ashley, Amy, Allyson and Amanda.

Tami h'05 joined the alumni office in the summer of 1999. She partners with the Director of Alumni Relations in coordinating Homecoming each fall, scheduling alumni gatherings throughout the year and serving alumni who call or e-mail. Tami lives near Fort Wayne with her husband Mark and has 2 children, Jeremie, a Taylor Upland graduate, and Nicolette, a Taylor University Fort Wayne graduate. Tami and her husband spend their free time in the garden.
