27th Annual Pastors' Golf Outing

Note: The original date for this event was August 20. However, due to heavy rain on that day, it has been rescheduled for Monday, October 15, 2007. The details below pertain to the new date.

Registration Options

Option #1: If you already registered for the August 20 outing, and want to register for the Monday, October 15, 2007, rain date, you may do so with no additional charges! BUT PLEASE submit an e-mail to us your RSVP for the October 15 date!

Option #2: If you registered for the August 20 outing but cannot join us for the October 15 rain date, please let us know and we will refund your $16 registration fee.

Option #3: If you were unable to join us on August 20 but would like to join us on October 15, please register with us using our online registration form or by phone at 260.744.8790.

. . . to be part of a special day of golf and fellowship with other pastors and Taylor University Fort Wayne staff and students. We always have a great time together. With the "Florida Scramble" format, you will enjoy the day whether or not you are a great golfer. Plan to be with us.

When:
Monday, October 15, 2007, beginning at 7:45 am

Where:
Foster Park Golf Course (west end of West Rudisill Blvd.)

Schedule for the Day:
7:45 am - REGISTRATION - Please put your clubs on your cart, and then check-in at the registration table. Donuts, coffee and juice will be available in the golf course pavilion (south end of parking area). Foursomes will be paired for the shotgun start.

8:05 am - ANNOUNCEMENTS AND PRAYER - Review of the Rules and Awards of the nine hole tournament.

8:15 am - Tee Time (shotgun start).

10:45 am - BRUNCH AND AWARDS - Held in the Eicher Student Commons behind Witmer Hall on the south side of Rudisill Blvd.

Cost:
$16 per person - includes greens fee for 9 holes, two motorized carts per foursome, brunch, refreshments and many prizes. Due to the limit of 72 golfers, we request full payment when you send in your registration form.

Type of Play:
Florida Scramble - Shotgun start with foursomes pre-assigned and balanced as much as possible, based on average scores submitted on the registration form.

Foursomes - Prizes will be awarded as follows:

  • First Place Team - $50.00 U. S. Saving Bonds from Lack City Bank.
  • Second Place Team - $25.00 Gift Certificates to the Anchor Room Bookstore and Café.
  • "Duffers" Place Team - $20.00 Gift Certificates from Don Hall's Restaurants
  • Closest to the Pin on #2 - $25.00 Gift Certificate from Cebolla's Mexican Grill
  • Longest Putt "Made" on #5 - $25.00 Gift Certificate from the Olive Garden
  • Longest Drive on #8 - $25.00 Gift Certificate from Cheddar's
  • Hole-in-One on #9 - A Golf Bag, full set of clubs, putter and shoes. A $600 Value.
  • Closest to the Pin on #9 - $25.00 Gift Certificate from Cebolla's Mexican Grill

During the fantastic brunch that follows completion of our round (included in the $16 registration fee), all golfers will receive a host of appreciation gifts from Brotherhood Mutual, Chick-fil-A, the Anchor Room Bookstore and Café, WBCL, WFCV, Superior Business Solutions and TUFW. In addition, drawings for door prizes will include gifts from Berne Apparel, Canterbury Golf Country Club, Cedar Creek Golf Club, TUFW Bookstore, Hartman Enterprises, New York Life, Superior Business Solutions, WBCL and WFCV.

NOTE: ELIGIBILITY LIMITED TO ONE PRIZE PER PERSON.

Who:
All pastors, missionaries and full-time Christian workers in the greater Fort Wayne area are welcome. We are limited to the first 72 who register and pay the registration fee. Senior pastors, be sure to inform and include other members of your staff.
