Fran Mortensen

Fran Mortensen, 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008, surrounded by her family and friends after a four year battle with cancer. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, she was the Administrative Pastor for Love Church of Fort Wayne Renewal Ministries. She loved her Savior--Jesus Christ, husband, Phil, and her entire family. She also loved meeting the needs of the poor and needy, and the Body of Christ--The Church. She was named and Honorary Alumna of Taylor University Fort Wayne in 1999.

Survivors include husband, Pastor Philip Mortensen of Fort Wayne; son Michael (Christine) Mortensen of Fort Wayne; daughter, Mary Ann (Andre) Goodwell of Fort Wayne; mother, Mary (Dan) Smith of Davison, Michigan; sisters Peg (Carl) Feiler of Montrose, Michigan and Jill Oosterhof of Florida; eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Case, and brother, Bill Case.
