An Alumni Perspective

Founder
Kingdom Force International

Terrance Bridges graduated from Taylor University Fort Wayne (TUFW) in 2002, but even before coming to TUFW, he was already making an impact in his community. Terrance started Kingdom Force International with only a few volunteers while he was still in high school. Since then it has grown exponentially and is currently partnered with over 25 different ministries and has ministries in several different countries all over the world.

Kingdom Force International is an international outreach ministry working with the nationals of the various countries in which it serves.  While in the country, Kingdom Force International workers provide leadership development training, including providing the curriculum, tools, and other necessary resources leaders need for their training.

In addition to providing leadership development training, Kingdom Force International has medical clinics that go into the impoverished areas of the countries and help the youth and orphans of that area who would not otherwise receive the medical attention they need. At present, the major focus of Kingdom Force International is Jamaica, specifically the interior of the country; however, they are looking into the possibility of going to five countries in Africa within the next few years.

Terrance credits TUFW with helping him understand the importance of diversity and being kingdom-minded, a key component to the success of his ministry. He is very mindful of the responsibilities and effects that a leader has on not only his or her direct community, but on the entire world.

He stated, "TUFW helped me see the bigger picture and that the decisions leaders make affect the global community; every good leader affects the kingdom as a whole with every decision they make."

As Terrance continues with the ministry he started over ten years ago, the life-lessons he received while at TUFW continue to have a lasting impact on the type of leader he is in both his direct community and in the global community.
