WBCL Radio Station

WBCL Radio StationIn 1976, a Christian radio station began in Fort Wayne under the ownership of then Fort Wayne Bible College. What started as an 18-hour-day station with two full-time employees has grown to a ministry of over 20 employees, broadcasting the love and hope of Jesus Christ to thousands of listeners 24 hours a day. In 1992, ownership of WBCL was transferred to Taylor University through a merger of the two educational institutions.

In 1992, WBCL also began broadcasting on WBCY at 89.5 FM in Northwest Ohio. With tower and transmitter in Archbold; the quality Christian programming is simulcast from the Fort Wayne studios to an area that extends even into Michigan.

In 1997, WBCJ became a reality in West Central Ohio at 88.1 FM. With tower and transmitter in Spencerville, Ohio; the simulcast programming reaches Lima, Celina, Wapakoneta and St. Mary's.
