Michael D. Mortensen,

Director of Alumni Relations & Parent Relations

Michael '91 now serves as the Director of Alumni & Parent Relations, where he serves alumni across the country by planning reunions, events and programs and encourages them with updates and services. He also partners with the Parents' Cabinet and the Parents' Association to see God's potential become more fully developed in each student and to care for their needs. Mortensen has served TUFW since 1997 (with the exception of a year and a half when he and his wife were short-term missionaries) in various development roles, but most recently as the Director of Development & Planned Giving. Michael and his wife, Christine '92, have four children, Ashlyn (14), Alli (10), Anna (8) and David (6) and will soon adopt a Jonathan, 1, from Ethiopia soon. The family resides in Fort Wayne.

Deb Shaw,

Coordinator of Advancement Support

As Coordinator of Advancement Support, Deb is responsible for donor receipting and multiple projects within the advancement office. Deb is an 1980 alumnus of Fort Wayne Bible College. Prior to joining the TUFW advancement team in 2006, she served in the music department and for the Community School of the Arts for fifteen years. She continues to take on various piano accompanying jobs on the side. She resides in Fort Wayne with her husband, Allen, and daughter, Allison, who is a senior in high school. She has a son, Brandon, and married daughter, Amber, son-in-law, Daniel, and granddaughter, Lyrric.
