The Fort Wayne Fund
The Fort Wayne Fund is vital to the students' financial aid assistance. It helps fill the gap between what is charged for a Taylor education and what it really costs which makes it possible for many students to attend Taylor University Fort Wayne.
The Fort Wayne Fund provides the University with resources needed to bridge the gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of a TUFW education. For fiscal year 2008-2009, tuition covers approximately 76 percent of total educational costs while the remaining 24 percent comes from gifts and other sources of income for the University. No student ever pays the full cost of their education even if they pay the full tuition charge.
Designated Gifts
Taylor University will accept designated gifts to programs, departments, athletics or other areas of interest from alumni and friends.
The William Taylor Foundation
In addition to the primary mission of the University, "educating men and women for lifelong learning and for ministering the redemptive love of Jesus Christ to a world in need," Taylor also offers various services to alumni and friends in the area of financial planning.
One of the many services Taylor provides is estate planning through professional counseling. The goal is to plan for the future in ways that honor God and provide for one’s care and financial support in the senior years. The William Taylor Foundation provides many financial services for alumni and friends. These include trusts, annuities, managed assets and other forms of financial instruments that are designed to provide increased income and favorable tax treatment.
At the same time, provision may be made for furthering the cause of Christian education at Taylor or with other Christian ministries and leaving a Christ-honoring legacy.
