Knipp Named Program Director for Teacher Education

TUFW has named Brenda S. Knipp as Program Director for Teacher Education.
Knipp's responsibilities in her new position include curriculum supervision, teaching, directing the Transition to Teaching program, student recruitment and advising, and providing leadership for the Education program.
Knipp has more than 30 years of teaching experience. Since 1974, she has served as a secondary French teacher for Huntington County Community School Corporation at Huntington North High School, where she was also department chair of the World Languages Department. In addition to teaching at a secondary level, Knipp has experience in the higher education classroom as well. In the 1980s she taught Educational Psychology and French at Huntington College (now Huntington University).
Knipp is a member of the American Association of Teachers of French, National Education Association, Indiana State Teachers' Association and Huntington Classroom Teachers' Association.
