TUFW Prepares for Renewal Week

TUFW is partnering with Fellowship Missionary Church for Renewal Week, September 8-13. Renewal Week is held at the beginning of each semester."We are praying that God would awaken the campus community in a new and deeper way," said Anthony Opliger, campus chaplain.
All chapel services during the week will focus on renewal. Monday's chapel will feature Fellowship's Senior Teaching Pastor Dave DeSelm, speaking on "Renew: Bringing Up There Down Here." On Wednesday, Joe Johns, Director of Cross Cultural Ministries at Fellowship, will speak on "Renew: A Commitment to Incarnational Living." Keith Reynolds, who works with Fellowship's Urban Ministries, will address students on Friday with "Renew: Intimate with the Holy Spirit," on Friday. TUFW's chapels are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. at First Missionary Church, 701 W. Rudisill Blvd.
On Thursday evening there will be a short meeting at the Friendly Fox, the coffee shop located at 4001 S. Wayne Ave., followed by a prayer walk through the neighborhoods surrounding TUFW.
