Ministry Fair to be Held
Date: September 11, 2008
TUFW is hosting a ministry fair Wednesday, September 17 from 10-11 a.m., during the campus's normal chapel time in Eicher Student Commons.
The purpose of the fair is to get TUFW students connected with organizations in the community where they might serve, gaining meaningful community leadership experiences while studying at TUFW.
"A number of students are already involved in the community through certain academic classes, but the ministry fair provides opportunities for those not actively involved through their classes and allows students who want to become more involved in the community to do so," said Mark Rippetoe, Graduate Assistant in TUFW's Campus Ministries department.
The organizations expected to be represented at the ministry fair are:
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- International House
- Erin's House for Grieving Children
- Matthew 25 Health and Dental Clinic
- Young Life
- Mission Church at Fort Wayne
- First Missionary Church
- Neighborlink Fort Wayne
- Covenant United Methodist Church
- Power House Youth Center
- Friends of the Third World
- Study Connection
- Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana
- Calvary United Methodist Church
- New Covenant Worship Center
