Leadership Opportunities
College isn't just about classrooms, textbooks, homework, and exams. At TUFW we believe a lot of growth and learning takes place outside of the classroom as well. One way we hope you will continue to learn and grow outside of the classroom is through service in student leadership.
The student leadership opportunities at TUFW are broad and should provide something of interest for just about everyone. Listed below are the different organizations on campus in which student leaders have the opportunity to serve.
- Discipleship Coordinators (DC)
- Multicultural Awareness Council (MAC)
- Resident Assistant (RA)
- Student Activities Council (SAC)
- Student Mentor
- Taylor World Outreach (TWO)
- Taylor Student Organization (TSO)
- Additional Campus Clubs and Organizations – Taylor Theatre Organization (TTO), Inter Class Council (ICC), Falcon Beats, Psychology Club, Intramurals, Angel Tree Mentoring Program, etc.
If being a part of any of these organizations interests you, the first step is to enroll in IAS 252 a one credit hour, seven week course offered every spring semester. This course is a prerequisite for service in many student leadership positions on campus, but is also open to anyone who is simply interested in the course.
The student leadership program at TUFW is an integral part of our campus culture. Please prayerfully consider how the Lord may want to use you in service to our campus next year. If you have any questions please contact fwstudentleaders@fw.taylor.edu or any member of the Student Development Department.
