Taylor Student Organization
What is TSO?
The Taylor Student Organization is the student body government of Taylor University Fort Wayne. All students are members of TSO and must pay a fee each semester that funds student government. Annually, the student body elects candidates who campaign for TSO leadership positions.
These elected officers, along with other appointed categories, comprise the TSO Executive Cabinet. TSO and its Executive Cabinet afford students an opportunity to have a voice in issues affecting student life by providing a communication link to the university administration.
The TSO Executive Cabinet meets weekly to discuss the issues and concerns most important to Taylor students, and then works through administrative channels toward a resolution. Student government also provides:
- Support to recognized university organizations
- Support for various campus activities
- Considers funding requests for programs and events
- Leadership opportunities for students
The members of the Executive Cabinet are:
- Student Body President
- Executive Secretary
- Vice-President of Finance
