Commuter Student Affairs

The Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Services serves as a liaison between students and on- and off-campus services. Essentially, if you live off campus, we consider you to be a commuter. Nationwide, over 87 percent of college students commute to campus-you are not alone! Approximately one-third of the Taylor student body consists of commuter students.

This office is responsible for the delivery of programs and services to commuter, off-campus, and non-traditional students. Our office sponsors several activities and programs to assist students with their continual development at TUFW. A Commuter Advocate and a Non-Traditional Advocate represent you on the Taylor Student Organization (TSO) and each have a student council which plans activities and events.

Whether or not you adopt the term "commuter" as your identity, we hope that you will investigate the useful resources in our office. We are committed to enhancing your college experience and helping you succeed in both your academic and out-of-class endeavors at TUFW.
