Volunteer Opportunities

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the backbone of the Resource Center. Last fiscal year, 55 volunteers gave more than 4,029 hours of service. Your help once a week, a month or year would be appreciated. Here are some of the specific areas we could use volunteers:

• Answering the phone and the door greeting visitors on Tuesday and Thursdays
• Scanning in photos and slides – we provide the training
• Writing stories for the FW web, FW Falcon, FW Vine
• Organizing and recording submitted materials
• Planting and caring for the flowers in the Spring and Summer
• Hosting gatherings in events, where we provide the food and programming

Prayer Team

Each week, prayer requests are submitted throughout the country and world from alumni, friends and Taylor students and staff. A volunteer alumni prayer team receives these requests from our Fort Wayne Alumni Prayer Coordinator, Violet Ringenberg g45. These volunteers include former administrators, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. If you feel compelled by God to regularly pray for these requests, please email alumnifw@taylor.edu.
